    comfortable bed
    reliable hot water
    dingy decor

    average stay, but needs improvement

The room had a comfortable bed that allowed for decent rest. The hot water supply for showers was reliable, which was appreciated after a long day of exploring. I also enjoyed the provision of tea and coffee in the room, making it a nice touch for relaxing evenings.

The overall ambiance felt quite dull.

    diverse breakfast
    spacious room
    cleanliness issue

enjoyable stay but needs more attention to details

The breakfast options were excellent and truly catered to various dietary preferences I appreciated the spacious family room which provided enough space for us to relax and enjoy our time together

The cleanliness could be improved in some areas and we noticed a couple of minor maintenance issues

    stunning hill views
    comfortably spacious room
    chaotic parking situations

Had a delightful stay! Our room offered stunning hill views and was comfortably spacious. Plus, we enjoyed the convenience of being right above the pub for hearty meals!

Parking was a bit of a circus act—good luck finding a spot! Honestly, I could have played a round of musical chairs with the other guests!

    spacious room
    great shower
    relaxing garden
    dusty windows

Had a lovely night with a spacious room and a great quality shower that really helped us unwind after a day of walking. The garden offered perfect spots to relax, including cozy seating near the flower beds and a peaceful area by the fountain. The only downside was some dust on the windows, but that didn't take away from our overall enjoyable stay. 😊

    charming atmosphere
    cozy log fires
    delicious steak
    limited parking
    difficult management

The Castle offered a charming atmosphere, equipped with cozy log fires that enhanced the ambiance. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, ensuring that my work-related needs were met efficiently. The meals served at the restaurant were notably delicious, particularly the steak I enjoyed during dinner, which was cooked to perfection.

Parking was limited and challenging to manage.

    friendly staff
    tasty meals
    scenic cycle trails
    difficult reception

Had a fantastic time with friends! The location is perfect for countryside walks and scenic cycle trails. We enjoyed tasty meals, and the staff were friendly. Definitely check out the local visitor center for tips while trekking. Just be prepared for limited parking space during busy hours.

The only downside was that the reception was a bit hard to reach at times, which made check-in a hassle.

    comfortable bed
    cozy atmosphere
    quiet location
    stuffy room
    limited seating

The room felt cozy with a comfortable bed, which was a big win after a day of hiking. It was surprisingly quiet despite being near the main road. the window barely opened, making it a bit stuffy when the temperature was high. The bathroom was okay with a decent shower, but it could use a little updating. Not much space to sit if you needed to relax outside of bed.
